An architect by profession, David Searl found great satisfaction in the entire creative process, from concept sketches to finished buildings. Sculpture has been a natural parallel progression of his professional work, providing hands-on exploration of materials, forms, and color. Working mostly in steel, his primary goal is for each piece to be beautiful. Searl’s drawings, paintings, and sculptures are in many private collections.
